Lut Laridean (Lucas School of Arts), Marian De Winter (Art School of Gent) and Jo Weerdt (Gent Highschool of Architecture) completed a 2 days Teachers Training in Makwanpur and Sindhuli. The participants were primary level teachers of Shree Devaki Higher Secondary School and Shree Teen Kanya Primary School.

The training focused on sports and english teaching. The training started with meaning and importance of sport exercises in the pedagogical context of the curriculum. How sports help children to be disciplined, increase concentration and coordination skills and work in a team. The teachers learnt some games and simple drawing techniques. There was a discussion on good habits of a teacher which was very much liked by the teachers. The teachers were convinced that learning a language can be done through rhymes and games as well, which also makes the classroom more participative and interactive.
